Chat N’ Chill – Stocking Island, Exuma

Chat N Chill - Approaching Shore

Chat N’ Chill located on Stocking Island is a short ferry ride away from Georgetown. The perfect all day hang out spot to grab some food, drinks and spend the day on the beach. Chat N’ Chill has the type of atmosphere that makes you want to stay all day.

How to get there:

Go to the Georgetown goverment dock, you will see a water taxi, the captian Elvis usually goes back and forth every hour.

The Food:

The laid back bar and restuarant serves food starting at 12:30. I recommend ordering as soon as lunch orders start as food can take a while. You can get dishes like baby back ribs, burgers and fries, grilled fish and conch salad. On friday evenings they have a bon fire beach bash. On sundays they have a pig roast, large enough for two to share.

Chat N Chill - Resident Stingrays

The water surrounding Chat N’ Chill is very calm and cool breezes are always blowing. You can see the resident stingrays swimming close to shore and feed them some conch scraps.  If you’re lucky you may even get to see dolphins. You can pass the time by playing volley ball, mingling with tourists and locals, swimming or sunbathing. You can also explore the rest of stocking island and if you are up to it hike up to the monument for beautiful views of Georgetown .

Overall this is a great spot to stop by for some food or just spend the day relaxing. Have you been to Chat N’ Chill before? Let me know how you liked it.
