Hurricane Dorian Relief | How To Help The Bahamas
Hurricane Dorian has spent the last 48+ hours ravaging the northern islands of The Bahamas as a category 5 hurricane. Abaco & Grand Bahama specifically have taken an unrelenting beating. Watching all of the posts on social media and hearing people pleading and begging for help has been heartbreaking. I myself have family and friends in Grand Bahama I have spent the last few nights worried sick about them.
A lot of people have reached on to me on different social media channels to check on my family and I in Nassau. We are fine, Nassau was spared and got the tail end and outer bands of Hurricane Dorian. While there was some flooding around Nassau we will all be okay. Thank you all for reaching out and showing concern for me and my family. People have also reach out asking how they could help. This post will serve as a list of places where you can make donations or drop off items in a city near you. If you are unable to donate monetarily, you can donate supplies or share posts with information about relief efforts.
