Bahamas Jetboat

Bahamas Jetboat is one of the newest boat tours to hit Nassau’s sandy shores. This high-speed jet boat ride is guaranteed to get your adrenaline flowing, if you’re looking for a thrill this is the tour for you. On my arrival to Bahamas Jetboat headquarters, I was immediately impressed. I was greeted by their super friendly staff and the check in process was quick and easy. Once you’re checked in, you can enjoy their clean and modern waiting area. The lounge area features comfortable seating, iPads with preloaded games for the kids, lockers for your valuables & fresh Bahamian juices to quench your thirst.

The Tour:

The staff takes your safety seriously, you start off with a safety briefing and everyone is fitted with life jackets. After the safety briefing you head out to the boat and before the tour starts the captain goes over hand signals and reminds everyone to brace themselves and hold on during certain maneuvers. The tour starts off at a leisurely pace through Nassau Harbour, A few stops are made at points of interest and the captain gives a little insight into what you’re looking at. Once you are out of Nassau Harbour the real fun begins, high-speed twists and turns & 360 maneuvers make this tour an adrenaline junkies dream.

How To Get There:

Bahamas Jetboat is located at the Elizabeth on Bay, Marketplace and Marina. Just east of the Cruise ship terminal. Parking is limited so if you’re a local go a little earlier than usual to grab a parking spot. If you’re a tourist your taxi driver will know where to drop you off once you mention Elizabeth on Bay, Marketplace and Marina.

 Tips:

• The less you bring the better.
• Expect to get wet. No…soaked 🙂
• You will be in the sun, wear sunscreen and a well-fitted hat so it won’t fly away
• Relax and have fun
• Pay attention to the captain’s hand signals & brace yourself at the appropriate times

Bahamas Jetboat takes the typical Bahamian boat tour and elevates it to a higher level. I was provided with excellent service from my arrival up until my departure. The staff was constantly checking with guests to make sure they had everything they needed. I was even offered sunblock which I thought was a nice touch. I highly recommend this tour, it should be fun for all ages. We had both young and old on the tour and everyone had a great time. This was a fantastic, one of a kind experience: thrilling, professional and exhilarating!
